The hotel is good, with fair pricing and great location. The staff were very attentive and polite, especially Arthur at reception who was super quick and helpful during check‑in. The hotel is old and needs some modernization, and the bed is small.

The staff were proactive and the breakfast was good, but the noise from nearby bars and the upstairs floor made it hard to sleep. The room had a mold smell, so we asked for a change. The towels looked worn and old, and the mattress was poor.

The staff were very attentive. The location is great, close to many bars, but that can be a problem for front‑room guests because of the noise. I had to switch rooms because the air‑conditioner in the front room wasn’t working; I moved to a back room and found it much quieter. The hotel is old and the AC units need more maintenance. In my first room the AC turned on but didn’t cool, so on the second day we moved to another room where the AC cooled but started dripping, soaking everything on the desk below it, damaging a book and creating a puddle on the floor; we had to ask for extra towels to contain the leak. Luckily the room got a lot of sun and we were able to dry our wet belongings by putting them on the windowsill.
