It was a beautiful home with so many things to look at and a lovely porch to sit and relax. Rooms were all different. Hostess Margie made an amazing breakfast. And told us stories about her many many dogs. Nothing

This place is wonderful. I have already booked for another weekend. The breakfast was wonderful!! Ms. Margie was great!! The grounds were beautifully decorated and the area is just perfect. Close to town , within walking distance. This is the most relaxing, quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in. As a bonus, there are 3 beautiful dogs that live here, they are so chilled it was amazing, they love belly rubs. Delightful and amazing, we highly suggest staying there!!. There was nothing to complain about!!

The home felt like a lovely retreat, decked out with a ton of antiques and period pieces, and it was a short walk to the charming town of Mt. Dora; Margie was an excellent hostess and the breakfast that came with the package was very nice, but we were unaware that we’d be on the third floor of a walkup—my wife and I managed, yet older or disabled guests might find it too steep, and the suite that promised three sweeping lake views only had a small window in an alcove, making the main room too dark and the bedside lamps insufficiently bright.
