The location was a few minutes from a client’s facility, the area was relatively quiet, and the breakfast met expectations, but the pyramid-shaped building, dim interior with Egyptian statues everywhere, the tiny, suffocating room with a barely usable bed under an angled wall, seemingly pre‑used sheets, poorly made bed, non‑working lamps, non‑openable windows, hot air, and the squeaky, dusty carpet were all terrifying.
