Fabulous hotel!
The style and location are great. The room wasn’t very clean, and the blinds need improvement because at night all the light seeps through and it’s not dark at all.

We were handed a large, hypoallergenic room, a tidy gym with complimentary water, and everything was spotless; however, Rodney at reception mentioned that the A/C was all or nothing and didn’t regulate properly, so we had to switch it off when it got too cold, and one of the ceiling lights kept flickering.

The front‑desk staff (Deborah & James) were great, very helpful, and Kevin the bellman was definitely friendly; we found a lot in common since we were from California. The toilet was too low and the furniture was dated, but the vibe was still fine and we enjoyed our suite.

The place was spacious, full of charm and history, but finding the staff was sometimes a challenge.
