“A pleasant surprise”
We chose the cheapest option because we were on a budget, not expecting much from the photos, yet we were pleasantly surprised by a much more upscale experience. The location is great, right next to a hiking trail beside the river, and the apartment was very nice and clean. We were greeted with a delicious bottle of wine, coffee, tea, and other amenities, which was a pleasant surprise. The hosts have clearly listened to feedback and renovated accordingly. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view, and the sound isolation is excellent—nothing comes through when doors and windows are closed. Overall we were very satisfied. The only improvement would be an insect screen for the balcony door so you can leave it open for fresh air, but there weren’t many bugs, and the place looks even better than the pictures show.
