“Peaceful historical property with excellent service”

I loved how this historic house kept its character. The gardens are beautiful and full of wildlife, making it perhaps my favorite stay in India. The food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend it as a stop between Jaipur and Jodhpur/Udaipur. The only downside was the general maintenance: the shower head was cracked and leaking from the side, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail in maintenance.

I stayed in a wonderfully located grand countryside property that felt like a return to colonial times thanks to its meticulous detail. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and the hosts made us feel warmly welcomed. It was a great experience, though we only spent one night in this lovingly maintained venue.

“Une étape de rêve entre Udaipur et jodhpur”

The setting was extraordinary—an old Maharaja hunting pavilion—and the welcome from the Maharaja’s son and his wife was especially caring and warm. We were upgraded to a room and dinner, and the staff set us up in the garden with a brazier. Breakfast served in the pavilion’s dining room was excellent. After a bull cart ride to the nearby village, we enjoyed the pool. Pure paradise!
