Hotel Antique

The location is central, breakfast is excellent, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the place is clean. We only stayed for 3 nights, though.

Everything was good. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help; the rooms are high quality. Breakfast is pleasant and good—highly recommended, we’ll return again ❤️

The breakfast was perfect, the facilities were very good, and the duplex was quite comfortable. I liked that there was a courtyard area right outside, especially useful in summer because you have to go out to get your breakfast. Getting to the local sights is easy: just 2 minutes from the castle entrance, 4 minutes on foot to the lake, and everything else is within walking distance. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and eager to help. I’ll definitely come back if my travels bring me back to Ioannina. The only downside was the lack of curtains; because the courtyard is shared and often has people outside, it was hard to keep the blinds open and let light in without someone seeing inside. Adding curtains would help, especially since the light in my duplex didn’t come in immediately due to its orientation—it was a bit darker than I’d expect for the time of year. This didn’t bother me much and barely affected my otherwise excellent stay. I mention it only as a suggestion for improvement, should the hotel team deem it necessary.
