The entire experience, from check‑in to check‑out, was wonderful. The staff we interacted with, Nav and Jade, were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room, the Oliver room, was delightful, and we enjoyed coming down to the bar for drinks, lunch, or dinner. I can’t think of anything that could have been better; the room had everything we needed and it was a wonderful little sanctuary on a rainy day.

“Some staff very friendly and helpful some looked miserable”

The historic vibe was spot on and they even poured draught beer, but the stair carpets were worn and torn.

The spot, the room, and breakfast were all superb, and the staff were helpful; the fun fair on the high street outside was noisy and ugly.
