The hosts’ welcome and conversations, the game meat pâté! Also, the cottage is especially welcoming for motorcyclists: Patricia, the housekeeper, a young retiree who always rides her bike to town. Her husband, however, isn’t much of a biker but loves building walls (he’s a mason, he renovated the whole cottage). A small detail that mattered during the heatwave: there was air conditioning in the room. Nothing negative.

Actually nothing. We saw the host for 5/10 minutes. The location, the garden was not a garden; there was a lot of sand, white gravel, it wasn’t tidy and the terrace was dirty. Our room also had no view of the garden… the room doors weren’t lockable. There was no private bathroom or toilet. There were two separate rooms and you had to share a bathroom and toilet! That’s not how it’s listed. The listing says there’s a garden view and a private bathroom. The room also had personal items like photos.
The atmosphere was calm and the host was very kind. Nothing else.

It’s a large renovated farm that’s been done beautifully. The hosts are lovely and looked after me generously. Nothing negative; it was a privilege to stay there.
