The staff kindly gave us a tour of the place after check‑in and explained the rules. This hostel is small, with only a male dorm and a female dorm, but it’s cozy and covers all the basics. Wi‑Fi and power outlets are only in the common living room, which helps cut down screen time. The spot is convenient between Banff and Jasper NPs, in the woods by the Bow River and a railway. The dorm beds lack privacy curtains; installing them would be nice.

A solid one‑night stay. Good facilities. 14 people shared one room with 2 showers and 2 toilets. Everything was clean.

Great value for money, especially compared to nearby places. The amenities were excellent, the place was very quiet, and the location was beautiful. There was no late check‑in, so you have to plan around that. The train passing by can be annoying for some.

The place is beautiful, the location is great, and everything is well organized and managed, but the male bathroom was not very clean or inviting for a shower because of the current guests, and the rooms felt a bit cold.
