We stepped into the room and left immediately! We booked through Booking, but the room was cold and damp, and there was no way to turn on the heating because it wasn’t operational until October. We cancelled the reservation, yet had no way to reach a manager—only a night guard assured us a refund would happen. We filed a dispute with Booking, which didn’t resolve the issue but offered a €13.80 goodwill gesture. Very disappointed with the hotel chain’s attitude.

The front desk guy handed me a heater. Unfortunately I had to switch rooms right away because the second room had a strong unpleasant smell, a broken heater, only cold water, a completely sagging mattress, a creaky bed, and a dirty bathroom.
