Fraser Place Central Seoul

The hotel sits right near Seoul’s central train station, the subway, and a bus stop (including one to the airport) at the base of the building. The staff are helpful, always ready to assist, and very discreet. The studio room is fairly spacious and well equipped. The sound insulation is only slightly poor; we had a street view that wasn’t bothersome, but at night we could hear some neighbors in adjoining rooms. It wasn’t mentioned in the listing that a swim cap is mandatory for the hotel pool.

I found the breakfast to be extremely pricey, so I opted for Starbucks instead.

“Worth the money. Location excellent.”

The staff were super helpful, offering excellent local restaurant suggestions. The hotel is within walking distance of many eateries and shops. The pool was small but worked well for the grandkids. The large fridge was a great addition. The washer in our room functioned properly, but the dryer didn’t; however, the dryer in a family member’s room worked fine.

“Excellent location, spacious room and easy access to airport with airport bus stop right in front.”

The location is excellent for most attractions, and it’s a short walk to two subway stations, plus you can even walk to Myeongdong and Namdaemun market. It’s quieter than Myeongdong yet still very convenient. The pool and sauna are a plus, especially after a tiring day out.
