Being close to Ikebukuro Station saved me from lugging my bags around for ages

The Superior Double Room is a smoking room designed for two guests. It is equipped with heating, single‑room air conditioning, a flat‑screen TV, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a telephone. The private bathroom offers a bath, shower, free toiletries, towels, slippers, toilet paper, a hairdryer and linen.

The station is close, and a convenience store is nearby. Some rooms lack a shower toilet, which is scary.
“Muy agradable”
The hotel’s location is great, very central. The amenities (shampoo, moisturizer) are always restocked whenever you want. The staff is very friendly and tries to communicate even though they don’t know English. Only women’s sandals are in the room, no unisex slippers. A microwave in the room would be great.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. It is a love hotel, which isn’t a problem at all. I still felt safe as a solo female traveler. It is just a bit inconvenient that we must return the keys to the desk staff every time we want to leave the room. The toilet is old and doesn’t have a bidet
I realized once I arrived (after booking) that it's more of a short-stay/love hotel than a standard hotel. It would be good to mention this in the description. Aside from that, it was decent

Clean and friendly staff. No noise. This is a love hotel (a regular hotel does not have condoms by the bed). It was not promoted as such. I would not have stayed here as a single woman if I had known. There are 'clubs' and other 'establishments' next to the location not suitable for families with children. As a single woman you might not feel safe here (drunk men around the hotel at evening)
