“Ergste ervaring ooit!”
Air conditioning was on the bedroom. The view was nice. Beware—this place is filthy and a nightmare stay. We were kicked out after we complained about the list of defects. The photos and previous reviews are misleading. It’s just a wooden hut for work people. We were in a huge nightmare and eventually expelled because we pointed out the laundry list of issues. The host lies afterward, flips the story, and accuses us of damage. When we arrived, the house was filthy: food scraps everywhere, the dishwasher was not emptied, and the ashtrays were full of crumbs. The fridge was moldy inside. Bathroom hygiene was awful: the soap dispenser was full of dead ants, and a hole in the shower wall let ants in constantly. The shower door was broken (fell off the hinges) and only cold water worked. Only one of all these complaints was addressed. The listing is deceptive. There is no living room, just wooden tables and benches. No TV or decent comfort. No drinking glasses, so we had to buy our own. After we were forced to leave, they were discarded. Privacy and safety were disastrous and intimidating: * The owner brought other guests into the hut without permission to show off his “territory” while we were eating in our nightwear. * The owner roamed the whole house while we were absent. * At 7:00 am a stranger was pounding on the door with force, claiming to be the owner’s son, which was terrifying in such a remote spot. * Sitting or sunbathing outside is impossible because the hut sits right on a walking trail where people often pass by. * Next to the hut is a chapel that rings its bell early in the morning. You can’t sleep. * The access road is a poorly maintained, unpaved path with overhanging bushes that leave deep scratches on your car.
