“Prezzo basso, qualità pure…”

It’s close to the center and the parking is a real plus. The breakfast is decent, classic Turkish. The place was really dirty, as everyone says—mold everywhere in the bathroom, no elevator, just stairs, and the hotel street is a mess with shops and cars constantly passing. Nighttime noise was annoying. I had booked a room on the fourth floor; the space was fine, but the “marriage” bed was an open futon, very hard, with the legs sticking out a lot—almost sleepless nights.

The breakfast and the interior garden were the only positives. The bathroom was unusable, full of mold in the toilet and shower. There were giant cockroaches in the room, about 4 cm long. I booked for two nights but stayed only one because I couldn’t sleep at all.

The hotel has an interesting history—it was built in 1857—so the vintage vibe is real. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. It has air conditioning and hot water, and the location is fantastic. The furniture is extremely old and uncomfortable. The bathroom is old and not functioning properly. The windows are probably original, very thin, and don’t close well.

The hotel’s spot was super convenient for us! The place was a bit noisy, but that’s tolerable and expected in that neighborhood.
