Gustavo at reception was very attentive and helpful, and the housekeepers were polite and caring. The place feels very pleasant, close to nature, and easy to reach one of Ilhabela’s most beautiful beaches (Feiticeira). Kudos to the entire SMART HOTEL RESERVA ILHABELA team. Our pets were also warmly welcomed, Marrie and Cherrie. We will definitely return. Thank you, Ricardo Valente. The only downside was having to leave…

The patio is small but peaceful, pretty, and quiet. I found the breakfast too repetitive, with few food options—most were just cakes. There were also very few savory items, mostly not even pasta. A situation that was a bit annoying: in the kitchen area there’s a sign that no dogs are allowed in the café zone, yet the staff would bring street dogs into the area all the time, and the dogs would stay near the customers looking for food. I’m not against dogs, but if there’s a rule it should be followed, and I don’t think it’s hygienic to have animals in a food area. That was quite annoying for us, but otherwise the stay was calm.
