“Muy buena experiencia, sin duda repetiría!”
The location is excellent, close to the square without being in its bustle. The area is very quiet and near great restaurants. The room is super comfortable for two people, nothing to envy at other hotels. Breakfast could be more varied, though the chapla bread is delicious.
“Agradable y el personal del comedor y bar muy atentos”
Ideal location, just a half block from Plaza de Armas. The bedroom is comfortable and clean, newly renovated. We could hear all the street chatter and conversations; I think they should install double glazing or noise‑reducing windows.
The room space and hotel location are good. There is no elevator. The hot water issue required leaving it running for a long time in the morning to get lukewarm water. Breakfast lacked variety.
“Un buen hotel en una excelente ubicación”
Great location and architecture. Breakfast was not very varied, and the city noise in the balcony suite facing the square could be better muted—perhaps a better sound‑proof partition would help.
“Het had zo mooi kunnen zijn.”
The hotel sits right next to Plaza Mayor, which was ideal, and breakfast was decent though nothing spectacular. The linens never changed during our five‑day stay, and when we asked to extend we were told it would be taken care of but it wasn’t. On arrival I found a big clump of hair and cleared it myself, assuming it was an accident. The bathroom floor was swept but never really washed, so the same grime kept showing up. The Wi‑Fi access point that the staff said was in every room emitted a bright light; I think it could be disabled in the software, but they only wrapped a cloth around it after we complained, which dimmed the LEDs a bit. We decided to add three more nights and told them on the last day; they said it was possible and I paid immediately. Later that afternoon, when we popped back into the hotel, they suddenly said they couldn’t accommodate us, and the receptionist admitted she hadn’t checked availability. We were left to either find a different place for the final night or rebook all nights elsewhere, with no apology or compensation whatsoever. We couldn’t locate another hotel for the first night, but managed to secure a different one for the remaining two, which was both inconvenient and more expensive. Another staff member mentioned a sudden group booking for a national holiday that required our room, and the receptionist who handled our extra booking was very unfriendly, so I rate the service as a fail.
