The view from the lodge is stunning – perfect for photos – and the breakfast staff are super friendly. But the room is tiny, with no table or mirror, so you have to keep your bags on the floor. The soundproofing is awful; we woke up to singing from the next room and the AC in the alternate room leaked water onto the bed. On top of that, the manager was unhelpful and the WhatsApp contact never replied, so if you’re traveling with kids or seniors and don’t have a car, I’d think twice.

The room was clean and roomy, which we appreciated. Unfortunately the shower enclosure was only half the size and leaked, soaking the bathroom floor.

“Se não tiver evento durante sua estada, vale a vista!”

The location and view are unbeatable, and the staff are attentive. But we were booked during a huge wedding, so the construction noise went on from 7 am to 10 pm, and we had no privacy with all the people moving around. The hotel should have warned us beforehand.

“We paid quite alot extra for the deluxe premium room which was disappointing”

I paid a premium for the deluxe room, but the Wi‑Fi was painfully slow, the mini‑fridge was empty, the pillows were hard, and there was no veranda as advertised.

The stay was a dream – simple but the view makes it all worth it, and the breakfast was perfect. Every cent was worth it.
