“久々にまた行きたいと思える宿”
Having several private baths to choose from let our family enjoy rock‑spa, sauna and hot‑spring hopping, which was wonderful. The in‑room bathtub made of cypress felt luxurious. We ordered two meals a day and both breakfast and dinner were genuinely tasty, served in a semi‑private setting where we could relax and eat at leisure. Because we checked in after 3 pm, the best slots for the private baths were already taken—reservations fill up fast—so if we had arrived at 5 pm we might not have gotten a bath at all; offering more time slots would improve things.
“とても良かった”
The interior felt very clean and, being a Friday, it was quiet; the lounge offered a wine server where you could pay to try local wines, and staying in the pricey room gave us lounge access, so I sampled the unlimited wine and shochu. The lack of an elevator meant I had to lug heavy luggage up the stairs, though staff helped carry it in when we arrived, so the trouble was only on the way out.
“落ち着く場所”
The staff were friendly and helpful, but the courtyard we came to see was partially blocked by construction, so we couldn’t view the whole area.
The exclusive open‑air bath was incredibly soothing and the food was so tasty we left completely full, but the previous guest’s body towel was left behind in the private bath and my son got a nosebleed there, leaving us scrambling for tissue that wasn’t provided.
The view was beautiful, yet the private bath water was too hot, breakfast was served late and the portions were small, and the pond with koi had dirty water that needs to be replaced.
