The food was excellent and the service great.

It was convenient for our return to England, but the hotel and room had a damp smell, some areas were very tatty, the restaurant food was poor, and the manager was unhelpful about a tough steak, evident from the chewed pieces on the plate; I would not stay again.

We were given a garage so we could leave our luggage in the car, but the room was small—just fine for one night and very clean.

There were plenty of parking spots and the gourmet restaurant was good, though pricey; for a three‑star hotel it’s a bit odd that only a pricey multi‑course restaurant is offered and there’s no à la carte option.
