Wildcat Inn and Tavern

The room had a lot of character and was very spacious. Tea and coffee were freely available downstairs. It was nice to have the tavern downstairs with live music – I just wish it had been open all the time! It was very close to places for breakfast and a little farther for dinner. No one was at the desk for the whole stay, which felt a bit odd. We ate in the tavern, but it was closed for the rest of our stay.

The place felt like a little throwback to the cowboy era. The Tavern bar and restaurant with live music were excellent. Our room was right above it all. It was still quiet and sweet! Loved the coffee station too. Nothing to add!

“Amazing, museum like experience”

It’s so great. It feels like a spot straight out of a 1930s film. I loved it so much. The restaurant is pricey.

The Inn feels cozy and I appreciated the historical vibe of the building, the New Hampshire ski scene, and the local town showcased throughout. We were happy to pick a room with an adjoining bathroom.

The property is pretty beautiful but has a few quirks. The bed was comfy, yet the bathroom is tiny and dim. You have to step into the shower to open or close the door, and the floor between the bathroom threshold and bedroom is uneven, causing both of us to stumble at least twice. Only one light in the bathroom makes the shower very dark, and the only mirror besides the one over the sink sits outside the bathroom with no light, so it's useless. We weren't told we’d need to climb two flights of stairs with our bags; as senior citizens and with my partner handicapped, that was hard. No staff was around when we arrived, so we had to figure it out ourselves and plan our day around the stairs.
