Le Suites dell'Edera - Historic Palace with Old Town Views

“Comfortabel verblijf in het centrum”

Having your own room and sharing a kitchen with a dining table was very nice, and it was also convenient to arrange early drop‑off and late pick‑up of luggage before and after check‑in. My room was even ready before the usual check‑in time, which was a big plus! The only thing worth noting is that you check in online and use a key box; otherwise you get quick, friendly contact with the owners.

“Bologna is a lovely city, beautiful, interesting and welcoming.”

The building’s location gave easy access to the Old City, the room was clean, comfortable and well laid out, and extra amenities would have been unnecessary for us. Neighbours were a bit noisy, but not enough to ruin the trip.

Close to the historic centre, quiet, clean, and the staff—especially Zakaria and Amina—were very helpful. We just missed having more mugs.

“Kein schönes Erlebnis und überteuert”

I liked the location, but we wanted to leave our luggage before check‑in, which the hotel offers, and no one was available or reachable, so we had to wait and hope other guests were leaving. Messages rarely get answered (response time >24 h unless someone wants something from us). Check‑in starts at 15:00, but ours was at 15:30 because our room was still being cleaned when we arrived at the regular time – that’s impossible! The mattresses are too thin, so the bed isn’t really comfortable. The air‑conditioner smells a bit musty and is loud. The shower is very small and doesn’t close properly. There’s no room service – after four nights it would have been nice to have towels and garbage taken out once.

“Im not sure what historic views there are as I only could see the neighbours. The location is perfect for short d walk t”

The place is conveniently located just a short walk from the main piazza. The toilet seat is too loose; I almost fell off it. It’s not just a little loose – it moves away from the toilet.
