The staff were helpful, they supplied water daily and the breakfast was good, and the metro was about a 7‑minute walk; however, because we were five people they gave us two rooms, and in the room with two beds one was fine but the other was a mattress that was pushed to the middle of the room, taking up a lot of space and making the room feel cramped and awkward.

The staff were friendly and helpful; on the day we had to catch our flight they let us have breakfast 15 minutes before the usual time. The location is great and the room was very comfortable.

One really positive thing: all our thanks to the cleaning lady who was so nice, educated and delicate. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but she was there on the 22‑23 August. Thanks to her! We were forced to change our hotel for the second night just before our flight to France because of the lightning accident in the building and we’re still waiting for the refund. Rebooking for another hotel 22‑23 August, today we’re 4 September.

The hotel was clean and the housekeeping did a good job, but the building was old and the location was terrible even though it was close to the metro station.

The building offers all the usual comforts and services, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location feels too far from the city centre; with Beijing traffic it could take up to an hour to reach some attractions. The area is still well served, but the daily cleaning was of low quality.
