“gutes Hotel mit einigen Schwächen”
The staff is very friendly; on the last day at breakfast the lady was only busy clearing and re‑setting tables and didn’t offer me any drinks. The website should have warned that there is no elevator and that the stairs are steep. For me with a mobility issue it was difficult to navigate the stairs without tripping, and it was a torment to bring a suitcase down from the third floor. The rooms lack a refrigerator or safe and have a normal door handle. Yes, it has historic charm, but I would like to keep valuables safe, especially since anyone can walk to the rooms unobserved. The reception is in the restaurant area, and the door is closed outside meal times, so an outsider can climb the stairs unobserved. The breakfast itself was very good and plentiful. The hotel is not disability‑friendly, coffee and tea are only available on request at breakfast, there is no safe or refrigerator in the room, the carpet is a bit old, and it’s very noisy with the neighboring rooms and hallway.
