The location was great and the staff were pleasant, yet the room I stayed in was extremely noisy from a busy avenue, the bathroom was inside the room without a ceiling, and the whole room carried a bad bathroom odor.

The hotel is run by a welcoming small family; after visiting Arequipa three times I always return without hesitation. The shared and private rooms are all clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet for a downtown property. The terrace for breakfast is pleasant, the breakfast itself isn’t overly abundant but is generous enough and tasty: bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, and sometimes pancakes or crepes. The bathroom is basic yet clean with hot water, and the location is perfect, just a few steps from Plaza de Armas. I recommend it 100 %.

The location is superb, the breakfast is great and varied, the hosts are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the shower is one of the best in Peru, though the place can be somewhat loud because it sits on a main street.
