“Was decent enjoyed the pool game room kinda noisy”

A nice spot with a pool, hot tub, and arcade, but the room feels dated, the hallway smells musty, and the walk to the room is long and poorly sign‑posted; there’s no free breakfast or coffee.

“Overall a decent stay, could use some updates, cleaning and better staff communication.”

This is the only hotel in Alexandria currently with a working pool and hot tub, which was the only reason we stayed here. The location was great being close to the bowling alley and so many stores and fast food places. The pillows and blankets were comfy, the attached restaurant had great food. My kids loved the rec area to play basketball and soccer. The staff seemed to not have great communication. Some told us breakfast and dinner was free for the kids and gave us the coupons, others were saying only breakfast was free for them. The hallways had a lot of dead bugs, thankfully not in our room. Some of the rooms seemed more updated than others- we had a total of 3 rooms in our party. The A/C dehumidifier was SO loud that we couldn't sleep the first night. Once we turned it to only cool it was fine but then the room was extremely damp. We were greatful for a working pool and hot tub but the area was very outdated and dirty. The paint in the hot tub was peeling off by the chunks then floating in the water

The room was dirty, dark, and dated, and on top of that we found a live bug in the bed.

“Will not be returning to this property”

The bed was clean and comfortable, but the carpet and chairs need cleaning, and they should offer creamer with the coffee; also, breakfast should be complimentary.

“Quaint lodge that feels like a piece of history.”

It feels like an old lodge, charming, and the bar is awesome with great staff; having the pool area in the hotel’s center is a smart move, and I’d love to travel here with friends.
