“Nicht zu empfehlen”

When checking in, the booking wasn’t found, but the front desk lady worked hard and finally gave us a room. Even though it was a non‑smoking room, it still smelled like smoke, the shower still had old soap residue, and the bathtub tap dripped constantly.

The rooms were roomy and had everything you’d expect from a motel: very comfy beds, plump pillows, spotless, and a microwave. The photos matched reality, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the location on the town edge had great transport links exactly as described. Being set back from the road gave us a peaceful night. The pool area left a bit to be desired; the pool was open but the hot tub was missing and looked a bit dingy, so it wasn’t really relaxing—maybe the season was ending. We had three rooms; one had a very obscured window and was dark, and another was “upgraded” to twin beds, but as a couple we’d have preferred a single bed with a sofa area. For one night these were just small niggles.

“Budget cost with comfortable room”

Reasonable price and good location. Hot tub was not working and pool needs updating
