“Right on blue bay, good mid range option”

Close to Blue Bay (great snorkeling). Good breakfast. Close to the airport. We stayed here twice. The first time the room was nowhere near as nice as the second time, but it was the same type of room we paid for. We almost cancelled the second stay because the first room was very dated, with the toilet tucked in a cupboard in the corner – it felt like something out of the 70s, and the “ocean” view looked over the volleyball court. The second time we had a much nicer modern room right on the beach. I would suggest that the different rooms be described and priced accordingly.

The room was comfortable, the view over the bay was lovely, evenings at the restaurant were enjoyable, the breakfast was plentiful, the sea‑outings offered were great, and the staff were very kind.

“Hotel agréable et bien situé”

The hotel is very pleasant, with direct beach access, free water‑sports activities, and entertainment. The room was not sound‑proof (late‑night music, the plane wasn’t that annoying). It was difficult to connect to Wi‑Fi on arrival because the hotel was full. The parking was undersized, but you could park nearby. There were few vegetarian options at the half‑board buffet.

The proximity to the airport and the lagoon view are positives. The “all‑inclusive” vibe is very bland, like any hotel worldwide, and there’s no reason to come to Mauritius for that! The buffet restaurant is uninteresting, except for finding what you eat at home. Our room had a sea view, but the restaurant was above us: you experience the noise of chairs being moved during dinner and breakfast… Everything was very expensive for Mauritius. Luckily we only stayed one night before leaving.

Bed, AC, view, and location are nice. The interior feels dated, and the breakfast food selection was okay but not great.
