The building is beautiful, old but in the right way: typical architecture with a nice view of the rooftops from the 5th floor! A Parisian spirit, cozy and luxurious without being vulgar: for me a fine example of typical French luxury. The carpet on the floor was the only negative.

The location was adequate for the planned activities. The room and bathroom were really small, with very little space to move around the bed and to store a few items. The same lack of space applied to the restaurant and breakfast tables, so the 4‑star rating is not justified. But in Paris, space is a luxury. The carpet in the room looks very old.

The hotel is in a good location. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and pleasant. I didn’t have breakfast, but it looked excellent :-) It’s very close to the metro station. Unfortunately, the shower water wasn’t hot enough. Outside the hotel there are old abandoned houses; that’s not related to the hotel, but it’s something I’d like to know.

Recommend! The hotel is very pretty, well-equipped, and the staff are friendly and help with anything. I was personally very satisfied.

The spot is decent, but the staff were disappointing, the rooms weren't clean or comfortable, and cigarette smoke lingered from neighboring rooms.
