I was eager to leave before the three nights I had booked. The real issue was that underneath the building, every day there was a gathering of Africans drinking on the sidewalk, creating a scary atmosphere.

The windows were wide and bright, there was a recycling system for trash, and the bed was very comfortable. Wi‑Fi was spotty, the curtains were thin and didn’t darken the room enough for sleep, and the elevator didn’t stop exactly on the floor, so if you’re carrying heavy luggage you’ll have to use the stairs too.

The property is very convenient to walk to from the station and a few minutes from the city center. Mrs. Elena was very friendly and always ready to help, and both check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. Because it’s close to the central station and downtown, the nighttime noise was noticeable. Another issue was that the blinds didn’t allow the room to be completely dark, which is a minor detail I’m aware of. Living in a mountain town, I’m used to sleeping in total darkness and silence, so for someone like me it wasn’t an excellent rest.

Everything was brand new, clean, and spacious, and the host was attentive, even changing the TV remote batteries. There were no plates, and although there was Wi‑Fi, we never managed to connect.
