The room was very spacious and clean. I really appreciated the comfort and size of the bed. There were misunderstandings with staff. First, when I requested a tuk‑tuk driver at the train exit, they had confirmed it by message but it never arrived; I only learned this at the station when I had to call the hotel because I couldn’t find the driver, and they told me I’d have to figure it out myself. Then, arriving early in the morning, I had asked two days before if early check‑in was possible; they said yes, but when I got there they said it wasn’t and I had to wait 3 hours for my room. They still offered me to use one of the departing guests’ rooms to freshen up.

The bus stop is about a 20‑minute walk, but the facilities are excellent. It’s a great value hotel.

“Cheaters”

I arrived at the hotel at 5 pm on my booking date. They told me my room had been given to someone else because I was late and it was Dussehra. I asked them to send me to another property; after reaching there I discovered it was a marriage garden 25 km from the city. I felt helpless and paid 4400 per night. They had already assigned my room to others and charged me high commissions from that property, and I spent a lot on cabs over two days to get into the city because it was 25 km away.

The hotel sits in a great spot, close to the bus station and several nice restaurants. The rooms feel a bit old‑fashioned, and the toilet paper is rationed.

The hotel is well positioned and easy to reach from the bus station. The room and bedding are comfortable, and the kettle, tea and cups are provided. The sheets hadn’t been changed before our arrival, so I had to ask the staff to do it—something that shouldn’t happen at a hotel of this calibre. The bathroom is small and needs refreshing; a raclette should be offered because the floor takes a long time to dry. The price is high for the level of service, perhaps because of the holiday season.
