Clean on board, lovely staff. Comfortable bed and room. Great food. We were in a rear room so we smelled petrol constantly. Cruises are noisy. Wifi was awful. It isn’t the boats’ fault, but people need to be aware that the harassment from vendors when you get off boat is insane. It’s awful and makes getting off the boat stressful.

The cruise was well run; the crew was always ready to help and polite at the same time. The food was great and the buffet spread changed every day. Our tour guide, Mr Shenouda, made the trip more enjoyable and less stressful, and his deep knowledge of the sites helped us understand ancient Egyptian religious rituals and practices. Well done everyone at M/S ALYSSA. No complaints.

Planet Tours organized the trip very well, with good and fast communication before and during the journey. We had a competent tour guide—thanks, Shenouda! The staff on the M/S Alyssa were very friendly and attentive, the food was very good, and special requests were accommodated. It’s a pity that the cabin windows can’t be opened.
