It felt very plush and comfortable. The bathroom was well above average, and the bathrobes were a nice touch. I was surprised to find that the hotel shut down at 5pm Sunday and all the staff went home; that was unexpected. I probably wouldn't have booked the night there had I known.

We really enjoyed our stay. The landlady was very chatty and helpful and we had a great breakfast. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a large bedroom and bathroom with some nice individual details. Everything was good. The hotel was in a beautiful old building with pretty gardens.

The people really stood out—nothing felt like a hassle and they genuinely cared about your stay, which impressed me. The breakfast was outstanding, with high‑quality ingredients, excellent cooking, and great presentation; I had to leave early but they pre‑ordered for me and it arrived right when the place opened. I felt well taken care of the whole time and would recommend it to anyone who wants personal service instead of a faceless corporate vibe. Very well done.
