The vibe was welcoming.

The place lacked a hot tub, and the pool was tiny with a low ceiling; the water wasn’t as warm as I’d hoped.

The room was quiet and spotless, but one of the beds felt too soft and made it hard to sleep; it should be replaced.

The room was huge, the bed was incredibly comfy and warm at night—felt like being held by a lover—but the bathroom needed attention: the tub had plenty of scum marks that weren’t cleaned thoroughly and a lingering odor I couldn’t identify.

The bed and bedding were great, but breakfast was lacking.
