“Fabulous location”
The location is fantastic, and the staff are very helpful. The hippos right next to the camp made for an incredible experience. I was going to stay one night, but because of the amazing location, I stayed two.

I rarely write reviews, but our stay at Ngulu Island Sanctuary absolutely deserves one. The afternoon boat trip with Dan was fantastic; you can immediately see how much he loves being on the water, exploring new channels and sharing this incredible wilderness. We returned just before dark, after a beautiful sunset on the water, surrounded by elephants and rhinos. One tip: set up your camp before heading out on the boat trip. Once night falls, a good fire is very welcome, especially when you can hear rhinos only a few dozen metres from the camp without being able to see them! Waking up the next morning was just as magical: completely peaceful, alone in the middle of nowhere. A very special experience. Thank you, Dan, for such a memorable time.
