HUB Portanova

The renovated old city house was charming, with a clean and comfortable room. I enjoyed the terrace under the moonlight. Located in the old town near the sea and with easy access to the train, the breakfast served in a small corner restaurant was lovely. Everyone was exceptionally kind.

“Schönes Hostel”

Separating men and women in the rooms was a great idea. The fully equipped kitchen and the option to store my bike were very convenient.

The old building was beautiful and only a five‑minute walk from the port. It remained very clean and quiet at night. For the first two nights I was the sole guest in the hostel. However, some staff members were not very helpful or knowledgeable.

The building was nice and comfortable. The problem was that there were strange people. After the first night, the next evening, I found candy‑pin pricks on my body, which triggered an allergic reaction; I suffered a large sore on my leg and several smaller ones—about ten in total. My mood deteriorated, but it eventually improved. We can debate where those pins came from; perhaps from a previous room, as they always say it came from the previous place. The key point is that I didn’t sleep there for several nights, and they gave me a headache in the staff’s bathroom, where the conditions were completely different, and I didn’t have any other aches. The room and the entire building are very nice, otherwise.
