“It was memorable for me. I liked the place.”
The vibe was great, but the door lock didn’t work properly.
The stay was fantastic, with a cozy and wonderful hostel experience. The host was fantastic and extremely helpful, making it the best place in Rishikesh; I love it.
“Perfectly located with a great vibe and rooftop, ideal if you’re okay with slightly small rooms.”
The location in Rishikesh is perfect, and the staff is very happy and helpful. There’s a useful water cooler on the second floor, and the rooftop area is amazing—you can chill there anytime. It’s a great stay for singles, friends, or couples in Tapovan, though the rooms are small, which might be a downside for some. The narrow lane outside the hostel can also get a bit crowded and chaotic at times because of cars passing and congestion.
“Amazing stay at a great price.”
The property was amazing, with an excellent location, clean and neat surroundings. The guy who runs the hostel was warm and friendly, though the rooftop was a bit untidy and unclean.
First, the positives: the owner was very helpful at one point, and the workers are exceptionally sweet. The check‑in process was pathetic, taking 40 minutes with a wannabe smart system that forced guests to fill in their own details online on their phones—a process no hotel in the world should have. The room itself was unhygienic: the toilet had poo stains, the carpets and floor hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, hairs were everywhere, and the bedsheets were dirty. Luckily the owner understood and gave me a new sheet so I could sleep. The most absurd thing was that they sprayed chemicals in the room to try to poison the guest. For 3000 rupees to get a dump like this is definitely a bad experience, and no price reduction was offered. If a discount had been offered, we would have felt respected as guests and I wouldn’t have written a review hoping the owner improves. As it stands, this is just a fast‑money charge, so here’s an honest review. The owner even agreed to all the points written above after I showed him the room.
