“Will not be returning!”

The setting is stunning and the walks are lovely. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. I didn’t need a hair dryer, but two other guests knocked on my door asking to borrow it. The real disappointment was arriving for dinner at 6:15pm and being told the kitchen was too busy and no more bookings would be accepted that evening. I had to rush to a nearby village convenience store and buy a sandwich because I can’t drive in the dark with cataracts, so I missed the chance to eat at a local pub. Other guests complained when I returned, and the restaurant manager kept apologizing and walking around. If you’re going to take party bookings, you need the infrastructure and resources to back it up.

“Would go back again but children need to be prioritised for dinner”

The hotel sits inside a nature reserve, which I didn't anticipate, but the surroundings were gorgeous and there were plenty of activities for kids. The only downside was that we couldn't eat after 8 pm because a big party was happening, and it would have been nice if they offered food for small children at least.

“Clean comfortable and cosy -Everything we needed”

The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a single night, plus a great walk‑in shower. We also enjoyed a meal and a drink at Woodys Bar. The only hiccup was a slow check‑in because the staff were swamped.

This resort was absolutely fantastic—the restaurant food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and we’re definitely planning to return.

“Good value accommodation in a family focused setting.”

The lodge was roomy and spotless, and the bar and restaurant were close by; parking entry and exit by car were organized well. The only downside was that the lodge didn’t provide a hairdryer.
