The staff were very friendly, and even though most of them are Italian, they speak German, which is very pleasant. The corner room was gorgeous with a stunning view of the mountains, a perfect canvas for a painting. The sauna isn’t available for spontaneous visits; it must be booked in advance and paid separately, which is a shame because the décor could have encouraged guests to linger.

The building and location are beautiful. The two‑bedroom suite turned out to be just one bedroom, forcing us to go into the other bedroom to reach the bathroom! We had to rent an extra room, which was expensive. We had to ask for the bus ticket. Tea and water weren’t refilled in the room. There was no coffee in the room. For this price range, only two cheese varieties seemed a bit lacking. On the second day, there was no vegan milk left.

The rooms were good, and the beds and bathrooms were very nice. The menus were too few and too expensive. The staff were sometimes not authentically friendly and demanded that wine and courses be taken accordingly, while they wondered why guests didn’t order along the menu suggestions. The bar was uncomfortable, without service and with a limited selection. There was no TV in the room.

A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy autumn hikes. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
