“Could be better.”
The spot was spot on, right in walking distance to shops and restaurants, but the bathroom floor and shower left a lot to be desired – I had to scrub the shower clean before using it, and the floor seemed only swept, never mopped. The pool was closed during my weekend stay.
“Conveniently located, but filthy stopover!”
The guy running the place was friendly and helpful, and the location off the highway made for a quick overnight stay, yet the room was absolutely filthy: the bed sheet had cigarette holes in a supposedly non‑smoking room, and the bathroom seemed untouched since the last cleaning, with urine, hair, and general filth; the floor hadn’t been swept or vacuumed. The photos got blurred during upload, so you can’t see how gross it actually was.
The location was a bit far from food, but we were driving so it didn’t matter. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and huge, with an excellent shower and bed, offering great value for the price. Breakfast was minimal – just coffee, cereal, and waffles – but that’s hard to expect more for the cost.
There was nothing to say positively.
