I was a bit confused during check‑in because the staff didn’t know about the extra hour we were allowed to have breakfast, but the owner let us stay until an hour later since it was our first day off. The front‑desk employee was unaware, yet the issue was resolved quickly and smoothly. The room, hallway and breakfast area were all clean, and the breakfast itself was tasty. The shower had a good spray, which is great for someone with long hair. We parked our bikes in the garage. The bathroom and toilet were extremely small, about 150 × 60 cm, and the shower head was low for taller people. The bed creaked when we tried to turn. There was no mini‑fridge in the room. We only learned the next day that the kitchen was on a floor above the hallway. Parking space on the property was scarce, though there was plenty of space on the road. The duvet and pillow were filled with down, which isn’t suitable for people with allergies – we had requested alternatives beforehand and brought sleeping bags.
The host was nice and the area is pleasant, with decent breakfast. The bathroom was VERY small, and the toilet’s limited space made it awkward to use.
“Clean and quiet.”
It was cheap, clean, and quiet—what’s not to like. It’s a bit off the beaten track, which is a bonus because you get to see the German countryside instead of just the highway.
“Wir kommen nicht wieder.”
The flat is not on the ground floor as advertised but in the basement, so you don’t get a view of the garden and the walk to the entrance is at eye level. It doesn’t have three bedrooms as claimed; there are only two. The two beds that were supposedly in a third bedroom are actually in the kitchen, and there’s no door there. The supposed seating area is actually the dining table. The terrace furniture is very worn and dirty.
“Unterkunft kann weiter genutzt werden”
