The view was breathtaking and we loved how secluded we felt; we could hear frogs nearby and it felt like we were deep in a rainforest, especially when it rained at night. I would have liked optional blinds for extra privacy, but that wasn’t a deal‑breaker and we’d stay at the cabin again.

The treehouse was magical, the surroundings beautiful, and the host amazing; there was even a sauna with lovely views. I wish I’d stayed longer!

The house is beautifully decorated with tasteful details like a mosaic shower, pleasant lighting, lovely pictures, and a well‑stocked bookshelf that even includes a few children’s books. An enclosed veranda with a braai fire pit and a cozy stove in the living room add charm, and you can step straight onto a scenic trail that leads down to a river and waterfall. A playground, pool and a bathhouse with a panoramic sauna make the stay flawless, though the property sits right on the N2, so you do hear some road noise.
