The staff made everything flawless from check‑in to check‑out, and the historic grandeur of the hotel, its great facilities, and lovely poolside added to an overall delightful stay; the trolley stop was right across the street.

The bellmen responded quickly. The restaurant on property. Delmonico’s was good and the staff was professional. The price they charged me was a different rate than the rate. They also charge an additional 200.00 dollar fee as a “room hold” that they say will go back on my credit card in 7-10 days. I’ve never heard of an additional 200.00 charge. If this is their policy, it should be stated policy up front. The room was sub standard. They pass off your luggage to 4 different people so you’re tipping four people. One person unloads luggage to curb. Another person lifts from curb up small number of stairs to front door. A third brings from front door to check in. A fourth person brings from check in to room. The rooms and halls smelled of mildew, the carpet was stained with wine/blood. The windows were dirty and the upholstery/pillows were dated and uncomfortable
