The room was superb for a relatively low price, made of real wood with a balcony overlooking Eugenisee, and it was spotless; plus you can park directly at the hotel, and breakfast and check‑in/check‑out are available at the stylish Hotel Espen across the street.

The staff were super friendly and gave us great hiking tips, but the construction next door kept us up from midnight to 5 a.m. and the soccer camp of 100 kids made it noisy.

The spot is perfect for Titlis, and my room had that old Swiss vibe with a modern bathroom and TV. But the place felt empty, no staff on site, and the whole building was taken up by a bunch of college kids, so a move to the next hotel would have been nice.

Everything was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and we were just a short walk from the train and gondola. Breakfast was good and there was a bar right next door. For the price, it was a solid win.

The apartment sits right by the lake with a nice view and is close to the Titlis base station. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple but fine. In summer it gets warm, and opening the windows brings bugs, plus a coffee maker would have been handy.
