Quiet, close to everything and all on one level. The bathroom was very safe and we could shower comfortably without feeling insecure with our mobility issues. There was nowhere to smoke comfortably.

I got scammed by someone who knew all my booking details with Humpback. The receptionist acknowledged that others had also, but claimed it was nothing to do with them. are currently looking at it, but I'm still waiting. Also, the town's police officer fined me (a tourist, bringing money to the town) on the spot for crossing a solid line for about 20 yards when the only car visible anywhere was him, and he was 1/4 mile away. He said I could appeal but omitted to mention that I'd have to attend court - I live in the UK. I won't be going back to Port McNeill or recommending anyone else does

The location was great

We stayed a few nights and everything was close to everything else. The only downside was that the only sink was in the kitchen; there was no sink in the bathroom, which felt like a sanitary issue. The room could have easily had a shower and a separate sink in the bathroom.
