The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful scenery, but we ran into a lot of hassles – the kitchen wouldn’t budge on a tiny menu change for my wife's dietary needs, the hot‑water tank was boiling and we missed our lunch reservation, the shower only gave lukewarm water in the morning, and the living area had no curtains, so privacy was limited. On the plus side, they did waive the dinner charge after all the trouble.

“Fantastic stopover on Carretera Austral”

The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was solid, the owners and staff were genuinely friendly, and it’s just steps from the main square; the rooms felt spacious, the showers had hot water, and parking was a breeze.
