“Not a lot of sleep - unfortunately”
The place is authentic to Florence and has a good location. Tea, coffee, and a kettle are down the corridor. NOISE! It was hard to sleep. The bathroom is tiny. The kettle isn’t in the room. Breakfast is across the road. The room is in a block that seems noisy.
“Terribile”
The reception staff were fairly friendly and helpful. The location is good. Too expensive for what it offers. The building is old and worn out; the lady who runs breakfast is quite rude. The sheets are torn, the floors are completely stained, and the bathroom is very small. Also, in 2026 you still have a tent in the shower, which is the worst mess possible.
We had a great stay and would have stayed longer if we had the time. The front‑desk staff were lovely to chat with and very helpful explaining how to use the room and access the facilities. One of the staff helped us get our air‑con working and we enjoyed the breakfast!
We liked everything.
The property is very characteristic, but what really stood out was the staff’s kindness! The location is excellent.
