We spent a couple of nights in a cozy little cottage. The hosts were very friendly and extremely accommodating, surprising us with a nice breakfast for the price we paid. We highly recommend this lovely hideaway.

The village is lovely, set on a hillside surrounded by forests, greenery, and birds. The Buddha statues in the room made Christians uncomfortable, as they don’t like foreign gods and spirits sleeping with them.

Nothing positive. The water was cold and I had to ask for warm water in basins; there was no TV in the room. I was told to check out at 8 am, and the location was very far from Pietermaritzburg, making it hard to find.

The hosts were awesome and friendly, making you feel welcome. The place was clean, comfortable, and good value for money. The shower was solar‑heated and not very warm because it was overcast during our stay.
