When our employees arrived, they were shocked by the run‑down appearance of the area and the property’s exterior. Because they were there for work and had work vans with tools, they didn’t want to leave their vehicles parked overnight, so they didn’t stay. We notified the owner right away and asked about a full or partial refund. The cost was £550 for four nights, and we were offered a £30 Amazon voucher as compensation.

The property offers good value for money and is spacious. The surroundings could have been better maintained; the front lawn had overgrowth and garbage was dumped on the back side of the house.

The backyard was cluttered with overgrown grass, and the bathroom’s basin drain was almost blocked.

The mattress was good, but the house smelled of cooking and smoke, and there were no blinds or curtains in the bedrooms. Cupboards were dirty, and the area felt rough with people hanging around vehicles. The garden looked like a jungle, paint cans were thrown out the back door in a hasty attempt to boost the price, and the host didn’t reply to complaints before the review. It wasn’t worth the money at all.
