Steve was helpful with local area tips. He was pleasant to chat with but left us alone to enjoy the peace. The fun area is a bit remote, depending on what you’re looking for.

The staff, especially Steve who runs the business with great enthusiasm and his partner Lilly who fully supports him, were wonderful. The quiet side of the island still feels a bit like Thailand from years ago, with beautiful nature and the friendly Thai people. Unfortunately we couldn’t use a local taxi in the east, so we had to arrange another one that cost an exorbitant amount compared to the local option, and the hotel owners could do nothing about that.

The owners are fantastic, and the breakfast is extra. Nothing to complain about, a little far from everything but still great.
